The bottom line is …
The bottom line is this: We Humans have no power to effect the planet’s weather patterns, for better or for worse. To reflect otherwise is sheer asininity.

There is no studies showing that “weather patterns have became more unpredictable then they have been in the past.”
“Whether or not the the earths temperature is rising is not up for debate”, bullshit, huge majority of global warming denialers argue exactly that.

The snow really …
The snow really helps to support “global warming” and a the occurrence of climate change. The increase in water vapor due to melting ice caps has caused weather patterns to become, at the very least more unpredictable then they have been in the past. Whether or not the the earths temperature is rising is not up for debate, whether it is life caused by man or not is. Even, with that issue all evidence points to one side, while the corporations and their lobbying money point the in the other.

If global warming …
If global warming has started, we must initially know the local effects that global warming has on each part of the planet before humanity develops ways to mitigate the effects of global warming.
In conclusion “record amounts of snow” as the OP describes does nothing to help his point.

That is why the …
That is why the phrase “global warming” is a misnomer and misleading.
For certain, global warming is a natural cyclical occurrence in Earths history that is destined to happen again. On the other hand, it is currently debatable if global warming is occurring now.

Even even if it is …
Even even if it is right that the average temperature for the entire planet will also increase, it is misleading to imply that the average temperature everywhere will increase too.
February 13th, 2010 at 9:10 am
For instance, …
For instance, certain areas will become much drier or wetter than their current norm. Also, hurricane and typhoons will become more common and more violent. Artic blasts and blizzards will also increase in frequency and intensity.
February 13th, 2010 at 9:10 am
Unfortunately, the …
Unfortunately, the phrase “global warming” is often understood as the average temperature everywhere on Earth will increase. In truth, most areas of the planet will go through an average increase in temperate, yet some parts of the planet will suffer an average decrease in temperature. This is because as more heat or energy is trapped in Earths atmosphere, this will cause more irregular temperatures and extreme weather phenomena.

sigh. Global …
sigh. Global Warming is a Misnomer
Whether global warming is real or not, the phrase “global warming” is quite misleading. Global warming really means the average surface temperature of the entire planet increases because of mankinds actions and/or the natural changes to the background.

Google “dust bowl” …
Google “dust bowl” this is a fascinating, although a tragic event in American history. It is one of many events that disproves global warming.
I remember when Carter was pres. they were saying we were heading into an “ICE AGE”. TRUTH is the sun’s activity on it’s surface causes our climate fluctuations. Don’t tell the LIB-NUTS, they will try to tax US taxes for the SUN!!
February 13th, 2010 at 9:10 am
Marvel if Al Gook …
Marvel if Al Gook has heard about the “dust bowl” of the 1930′s that lasted nearly 10 years? He doubtless would pull the rest of his hair out. It was a period of drought in the plains of the mid-west America. That killed thousand’s of people. The dust clouds reduced visibility to nearly zero and covered a large part of the people, with rolling clouds of “black death” reaching as far east as NYC & Wash. DC. Humans didn’t stop the rain that caused it, so what would these NUTS say about this?

How will EPA …
How will EPA regulate C02 below Clean Air Act? CAA: emissions must be measured from the point source using instruments, not guestimates;chemical release must have a direct and immediate impact; the point source has financially feasible technological options 4 reducing emmisions that don’t bankrupt them bread company, dry cleaners etc. EPA: clarify how co2 meets CAA rqmts. Sad thing is cchange crap takes away from real environ problems that can kill now. Like ecoli in terrible drinking water.

people who believe in man made global warming also believe in the Easter Bunny!
Where is all the concern when Al Gore flies all over the world in his own Gulfstream V jet all by himself. Can you say hypocrisy?

Just got February’s …
Just got February’s copy of the “Smithsonian” magazine in the mail and found a few fascinating facts: 1) The Sahara Desert went from dry to rolling grassland when the monsoons went north (8500 BC) 2) People matured the region about 7000 BC 3) The “green” Sahara reverted to desert between 3500 to 1500 BC. I marvel where the despised coal-firing factories that made the marble tools went to?
