How does one encourage prosperity through faith?

October 10th, 2009 | by admin |

Visualization. meditation and attracting all seem to me to emanate from the human mind which to be fair usually will help one to manifest desired wishes and outcomes.

Undoubtedly, God can deliver prosperity and abundance more quickly and comprehensively than the human mind,

I am learning to be grateful to the Universe and the Presence murmuring thanks at the beauty of the world around me.

Should I directly ask for more prosperity or focus on what prosperity I already possess, enjoy and utilise?

you should always mention in prayer that all you are blessed with especially when increased is a direct proportional increase in all that you give back through tithing

Convince gullible rubes to give you their money. Just tell them God will like them better if they do.

Like most westerners, you assume prosperity means gaining possessions… that’s not necessarily the case.

If you are grateful to the universe and are asking directly of it to prosper you, well, you’re bound for disappointment.

Send a prayer-gift to your local televangelist – and you’ll get it back ten-fold. (At least that’s what Popoff says).

There’s more to religion and faith than wondering how it can make you prosperous. Frankly, the prosperity theology touted by TV ministers makes me puke. It’s an abomination.

All of that name-it-and-claim-it bs has really gotten a lot of suckers.

The best way to be prosperous is astoundingly simple.

Find something you can get paid for that you enjoy doing, then do it with all your might. Problem solved.

By the way, a bit less attachment to STUFF helps a lot, because if you just have a few things that you really need, and don’t sweat the rest, you can really relax and enjoy life.

You can have abundance while being unemployed if your mind’s in the right place. We’re too addicted to STUFF.

Be grateful for what you have, your blessings will come through your walk.

God knows your needs, ask for strength and wisedom, but worldly desires or "stuff" you need He already knows, and imo, asking for such things feels like I’m showing ungratefulness. People may feel differently though.

The Bible is very clear that a rich man can not possibly get into heaven. Challenge anyone who says the "eye of a needle" is gate or anything like that; it simply is not true. Those who preach that God rewards you on earth with wealth are deceivers.

The way to prosperity is trusting in God. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you."
Another verse concerning prosperity is, "Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Also, "Give and ye shall receive. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. For whosoever seeketh finds, whosoever knocks, the door is opened."
God can open doors no man can shut. He can shut doors that no man can open. Remember, it is God who gives us the ability to get wealth and whosoever gathers little by little shall increase. Ill gotten gain doesn’t bring lasting happiness, right living does.

7 Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.
39 And if ye seek the riches which it is the will of the Father to give unto you, ye shall be the richest of all people, for ye shall have the riches of eternity; and it must needs be that the riches of the earth are mine to give; but beware of pride
16 Wo unto you rich men, that will not give your substance to the poor, for your riches will canker your souls; and this shall be your lamentation in the day of visitation, and of judgment, and of indignation: The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and my soul is not saved!
18 But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God.
19 And after ye have obtained a hope in Christ ye shall obtain riches, if ye seek them; and ye will seek them for the intent to do good–to clothe the naked, and to feed the hungry, and to liberate the captive, and administer relief to the sick and the afflicted.

You are on the right track ,ignore the bible thumpers and sceptics.
    Acknowledge the Universal presence
    Affirm your oneness with It
State your goals as present tense.
Give thanks as if it has already happened. (it wouldn’t hurt to express thanks for past good, too.
Release it and don’t try to hold the thought in mind. This can sometimes work against you.
Google "New Thought" and / or "Science of Mind" for more reliable info. NO its not even distantly related to Scientology!!!
