What is so immoral about spreading the wealth?
January 30th, 2010 | by admin |The wealthy had an unfair advantage and an unearned privilege passed down to them from the backs of other people.
They didn’t work hard to gain any success, other than stealing and lying. U call that work?
What is so unfair about spreading the wealth, when they stole everything from everyone to get wealthy in the 1st place?
Precisely. The redistribution of wealth from the bottom to the top has gone on since Pharaoh first decided he needed a large pyramid in the desert. Actually, it probably started LONG before that. And it has often gone the other way, too.
It is nothing new, nothing to do with socialism, nothing revolutionary or even radical. That’s just STUPID.
The crackpots who whine are the ones who see only a dollar to two coming out of their wallets. They never stop to realize their industry probably takes more in the front door from the same redistribution than goes out, but then, they don’t even understand that medical insurance, even the private kind, involves "redistributing wealth" every single day, and "pooling risk" and "rationing", too.
What the right wing scum bag liars REALLY want is a purely regressive taxation system as under Reagan, where the tax burden falls much more on the poor, the working class, and the middle class, so that the wealthy pay virtually nothing.
And those days are OVER. That kind of "redistribution of wealth" should NEVER have been allowed to these unworthy slime sucking
parasitic scum.

Nothing it’s just the way of doing it is the problem.
Some want government to take it from the rich and give it to the poor.
Others want the rich to invest, create jobs and spread wealth that way, called the trickle down effect.

What is immoral about it is that some have to work hard to pay the bills of those who don’t even try to find a job and those who enter the country illegally.

the problem is that you’ve been brainwashed to believe that nobody has earned their success in life. i guess that is why liberals are so damn lazy. If I thought there was zero chance for me to being anything above a community organizer or union thug, I guess I wouldn’t try very hard either.

"Unearned privileges"? Oh, bullcrap !! Grow up. If I work hard and make a million through my own sweat & initiative, while you sit on your lazy behind all day in your parent’s house watching reruns of Oprah & downloading kiddie porn, why the hell should I share anything with you?
HARD WORK WILL SET YOU FREE. Learn to be self-reliant.

Liberal guy, I’ve got news for you. My parents started with nothing and worked hard, did without and earned what they made. They are certainly not rich, but why should they,I, my children, or grandchildren have to pay for you or anyone else that refuses to work hard ?????????

Those born rich like the Kennedy’s have their cash in trusts and don’t pay taxes, which are the tax lope-holes the left refuse to fix! 90% of all other wealth is first generation which means they earned it…

Well lets look at it like this.
Why can’t I just walk up and take your wallet?
I need it more than you, or so I think any way.
Oh, you don’t have any more. Fine; we’ll just take it out of your pay check then.
Don’t have a job?
Then I guess thats why you think stealing is fine.

You’re broad assumption that all wealthy people were born with a silver spoon in their mouth or lied, stole, or exploited others to gain their wealth is in error. It’s a canard foisted by Liberal/Democrats to justify their own theft.
Here, let me help you on your road to recovery if you’re willing. Start with the article below – it may open your eyes and broaden your thinking.

Neither does the robber that rips off the convenience store. But they go to jail if they get caught.
But it’s OK for government to do the same thing? When has the government gotten a dime without threat of imprisonment.
Jealousy is so hypocritical.

Your question is an oversimplification and a generalization. It is true, however, that many of the wealthy got that way due to government granted privilege such as professional licensure, protectionist tariffs, regulation which stifles free market competition, etc. But these are problems created by too much government interference and cannot be corrected by additional government interference. I have worked in corporate aviation for the last 25 years and have rubbed shoulders with many of the richest of the rich. Of all of those, I can only think of one which got that way without such government intervention. If your goal is fairness, get government out of the business of granting privilege so that there is free market competition and a level playing field.

Hmmmmm, I suppose you don’t have a job, and never have had one. If you had and actually worked long enough to get a paycheck, at some point it should have become evident that not only did your company’s owner work hard to make the business grow, but he invested his/her life, time, and money in the business so that he/she could make a living and pay you for the work you do or did. How the hell is that stealing? If I stick a gun in your face and take your wallet, that’s stealing. If the government takes the law and sticks it in my face under penalty of prison and takes my money to give to some one that didn’t earn my money, that’s stealing. So explain to me your idea of fairness again, please?

So bill gates stole his wealth? A company that he started in the 1980′s
How About Andy Groves (Intel)
Hewlett or packard (HP)
Steve Jobs (CEO Apple)
Steve Wozniak (Inventor of apple computer)
It is really amazing. These people took most of the risk. They put down money and time, to build wealth.
How many people are employed, because these people started companies?
Microsoft around 90k
Apple around 18k
intel around 80k
How much money gets invested and spent by the companies, the management and the employees (I’ll bet redmond washington is not doing bad)
What about the businesses in your community that employ between 10 and 30 employees, are these owners rich too, did they steal.
Instead of complaining about people of wealth, why don’t you take a risk, come up with an idea, invest money, work 70+ hours a week getting a company started, stay up nights wondering if it is going to succeed, or worrying about the first 5 employees that you get and there families (that are counting on you staying in business). If it is so easy, you go do it.

What unfair advantage did these people have?
What unearned privilege was passed down?…and how do you know it was unearned?
Who’s backs were these privileges passed down from?
How do you know they didn’t work hard to get where they are?
What did they steal?
What did they lie about?
What did you have that Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey and Michael Dell stole?
Why do YOU deserve their wealth? Did YOU earn it?
And just so you can’t report me for not answering the question:
It is immoral to take from producers to give to those who do not produce.
Your question is typical of socialists robin hood thinking. You think that everyone who has more money than you MUST have cheated to get it and must be punished. Your convoluted thinking is pathetic.
