FAQsQuestion: What do you typically see when you visit a client's office or home? Answer: Often I find that people are not aware that there is a sequence to placing Feng Shui cures and so the initial cures are missing. Sometimes people have read books from different schools of Feng Shui and have used cures from several of the schools. Most people do not realize that the placement of the Ba-Gua is different with the different schools of Feng Shui. You may have water cures in a fire location, or entrance cures in wealth, undercutting the very thing you are trying to enhance. Often I find that there are few or no protection cures in place. When I inquire, it turns out that there have been inauspicious events, sometimes several, that people have been attempting to address with no success. So protection cures are shared. Plus few people recognize cutting chi and it's impact until it is pointed out to them. Then they see cutting chi wherever they go and they begin to recognize it's impact. With these varius situations I spend some time praising the person's awareness of the issues and gently sharing the reason for the cure and where and why each cure is placed sccording to the principles of Blact Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui. Usually people smile and quickly begin shifting furniture and making notes of what new Feng Shui cures to place where. Usually within a month I've received a telephone call sharing what has happened since the consultation and (to them) the surprising improvements. Question: Should my front door be red? Answer: That depends upon the relationship you have with your neighbors and with the Gua or area of the Ba-gua. The Gua is both the particular area of the Ba-gua where the door is located, and the symbol and symbolic meaning of that area, or Gua. Red is an enlivening energy. It is also used to protect. Chinese brides wear it on their wedding day. It is the color of Red Envelopes. In some situations red can also be overpowering. When blood runs -- it is also red. Fresh blood is a bright red. Dried blood is less intense. Look at the information about the Creative Cycle and the Regenerative Cycle, pages 30-32 of the book, as well as the Five Elements, pages 28-30, then consider what cycle you have in your own space, and at the front of your home. Then consider the cycles of your neighbor's buildings, those across the street as well as on each side of your home. An answer to your question may then emerge. Are the cycles in harmony? Is the neighborhood experiencing harmony? Would having a red door for your space, contribute to more harmony for the entire neighborhood? What is your intention in relation to your own life and your relationship with your neighbors? Is harmony your goal? What about your intention for a cycle that supports abundance -- for you? Does it also include abundance for your neighborhood? Or the larger community? Now remember, that "should" leads to the River of Shame. The River of Gold is empowering and offers the opportunity of connecting with the ocean of openhearted abundance -- for all who choose to navigate it's currents. And, if there seem to be too many currents of information to consider, then please consult with an expert in the ancient art of strategic placement. Q: Where is the main door? A: The main door to your location will have at least one of several attributes: (1) Your house or building's number will be very close by the Main Door and easily seen from the street even at night. For a commercial building, the number will also be near this entrance. For your own apartment, condo or "office" there will be a number next to the particular space that you "control." (2) There will be a working outside light near that door (3) There will be a way to summon you, for example a working doorbell, or a knocker, or a buzzer or innercom (4) Your mail box will be nearby ready to receive good things (5) Your newspaper recepticle will be nearby (6) Your Main Door will provide some shelter from the elements, e.g., an overhang or front porch (7) And ideally that door will face the street Q: Does it matter if I'm not using the Main Door? A: The question that immediately comes to me, is "Matter to whom?" Your main door, also known as your front door is the place where opportunites come looking for you. If you are not interested in new and expansive opportunities, especially regarding enlarging your wealth and abundance, then no, it does not matter whether you use your front door, or how you maintain this entrance. Remember that your Main Door is the "mouth of ch'i," where energy and opportunity enters your space. A bright and welcoming entrance will attract positive opportunities, helpful people, creative ideas, loving friends and family, and an honorable reputation. And opportunists and scoundrels, i.e., those who look for ways to quickly remove your wealth without being seen or detected -- they would prefer a dark environment, with plenty of places to hide that are very close by for a quick escape. Now, you decide whether it "matters." No part of this site may be quoted or reproduced without prior written permission. |
